Job Details

The City Council is seeking a self-motivated, experienced and customer-focused Cleaning Operative to join their cleaning team. You will provide an important service, working to a high standard so that our staff and visitors enjoy a clean and safe environment.

This position is based at the Civic Centre – the working hours are 7.30am to 9.30am, Mon to Fri. (10 hours per week)

Flexibility in working hours is key, as you will be required to cover absence within the wider cleaning team, sometimes at other Council premises within the City. This could involve evening work. (No night work)
Any hours worked in excess of the contracted 10 hours per week will be paid as overtime.
