We have the opportunity for a Reablement Supervisor to join our team in South Cumbria either based in either Kendal or Barrow. This exciting post will support with the development of staff the promotion of excellence within the reablement and domiciliary service and the focus on strength-based practice.
The successful candidate will manage a team of support workers ensuring that they work with clients effectively to let the service users voice be heard and promoting the prevention strategy and developing strength-based practice always.
The role will be crucial in supporting closer integrated working with colleagues from other professions and services. The ideal individuals will be familiar with CQC standards and be willing and able to embed quality in every area of their work
The ideal candidates will have a NVQ Level 3 Care Award as well as experience of supervising staff who are carrying out support and care roles. Knowledge of Manual Handling Key Work plus robust awareness of Health & Safety issues is also essential although full training will be given.
This role requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults Barred List check. Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with Adults.
