We have opportunities for caring and compassionate people to join our Cumbria Care teams throughout Barrow and surrounding areas as Support Workers (Carer Care Worker Care Assistant) providing support and care across our Disability and Mental Health Services:
About Disability and Mental Health
Day Services & Supported Living
Help people to build their independence and skills supporting people with learning disabilities to live a full life and be part of their local community.
Residential Care (DMH)
Provide both long term care and respite promoting independence and skills and providing 24-hour support to adults with a learning disability within a residential home.
About the role
As a Support Worker (Carer Care Worker Care Assistant) you will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. You may also assist with medication providing personal care and encouraging our people to achieve or maintain independence.
No experience or qualifications are needed to get started. We will help and support you with fully paid training and development - we are looking for the right people with the right qualities. If you do have experience then take the next step in your career with us. As a large employer we can offer great opportunities to develop and build your skills to take you where you want to go.
