Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of Children across Cumbria?

Children need a safe home to develop and process the trauma and loss that is often involved in reasons for removal. The supervision and support of foster carers facilitated by Fostering Social Workers means that we foster and encourage supportive and therapeutic care. There are areas of development needed with in the fostering team and the successful candidate of this post will have a key role not only in the training and supervision of foster carers to meet the complex needs of children but also in developing key areas for the team.

There will be an interview which will involve a presentation the topic for the presentation will be. Developing the Fostering service for children.

This is a broad title and the interview panel will look forward to hearing innovative ideas to this very complex and challenging question. The interviewee will need to present ideas and a plan of implementation.

Thank you for your interest in this post. We look forward to hearing from you.
