About the Role

Haringey Early Years Inclusion Team is part of the Haringey Special Educational Needs Service. It is a successful and supportive team which ensures that every child with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities has full access to learning opportunities in the home and their educational setting 

We are looking for a new manager to join and be responsible for strategic leadership of the education of children aged 0-5 in Haringey with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND). It includes providing professional and managerial leadership for Early Years Inclusion Team members.   

This is a brand-new role and one you can make your own. 

Some key responsibilities include:  

  • Leading, co-ordinating, developing and implementing the delivery of high-quality specialist advice, support and training to Early Years settings and parents with regard to children’s SEND support needs from birth to the end of the EY foundation stage  
  • Providing professional support, supervision, performance management and for members of the Early Years Inclusion team

About You

You will be a level 3 qualified childcare professional who has substantial successful and relevant experience of working with babies, children, and their families.  You will have proven successful management experience in a school or local authority setting with the ability to motivate others and to work as a member of a team.   You will have a clear vision of inclusion in the Early years with the ability to plan for, initiate and implement change
