About Haringey
Haringey is a place with lots of ambition, we are doing great things and we want to tell everyone about them. The Communications Service leads on, develops and manages innovative communications strategies and campaigns to support the council’s key messages, objectives and priorities, and to help change behaviour.
This role sits within the Customer, Transformation and Resources directorate in the Communications Service.
About the role:
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Communications Officer to lead on, develop and manage innovative communications strategies and campaigns to support the roll out of the council’s Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTNs) and to help change
behaviour.
About you
Ideally, you’ll have a strong background in marketing communications with knowledge of the full range of marketing techniques and channels. You will be responsible for writing and producing external communications media, including leaflets, magazines, posters, press releases and organising and managing events. You will produce content for Haringey People, the council’s flagship magazine, our social media and other channels. You will work with colleagues across the communications service, including design, digital and press, on delivering a range of integrated campaigns.
If you are someone who is passionate about communicating and able to use the creativity and the power of words to influence we want to hear from you. In return we offer great benefits – and the chance to work in one of the best communication teams in London.
