The Role

The Incrementum Housing Companies were established by Warrington Borough Council in 2019 with the ambition of delivering over 500 new homes for rent in the Borough over the next six years. Although commercial in nature, the Companies' role is also to promote the Council's broader corporate agenda through its residential developments, including the use of low carbon technologies, fighting fuel poverty and excellence in place-making. 

Incrementum currently has two sites under construction, but is looking to bring forward more at an accelerated pace and potentially with a wider range of tenures. Accordingly, it is seeking to recruit a dynamic Senior Development Manager who will take day-to-day responsibility for the Companies' development programme. Working in partnership with our legal and property teams as well as external consultants, the successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for the management of the new housing schemes, and will oversee all aspects of the developments from the initial site evaluations and market appraisals, through the feasibility, planning and construction stages up to the handover of the completed new homes. 

You will need to demonstrate a track record in housing delivery and the ability to work to set budgets and timescales. You will have a good working knowledge of the local housing market, and be able to work as part of a wider team involving both internal consultees and external consultants. Excellent organizational and communication skills are required. A working knowledge of SDS ProVal, or other development software packages, would be a distinct advantage.
