An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to join and help to lead Drainage & Street Works Team.

The Street Works Team supports the daily operational needs of Doncaster’s road network ensuring that all planned work is well co-ordinated and managed to minimise disruption to our customers. 

As a Senior Engineer (Street Works Performance) within the Drainage & Street Works team, you will have significant experience of working in a role that involves highway network management bringing technical knowledge and skills, together with an understanding of relevant procedures to assist with the monitoring and co-ordination of Streetworks and highway regulation.  You will have a comprehensive knowledge of the New Roads and Streetworks Act 1991 and the Highways Act 1980 and will use the powers contained within the legislation on a daily basis.  In addition, you will have knowledge of the Traffic Management Act 2004 and will lead at small team ensuring that utility works within Doncaster are carried out efficiently.
