Salary

18-month Secondment or Fixed term contract opportunity

The Supported Housing Commissioning Team commission services for Lambeth people including homeless young people, teenage parents, Looked After Children, care leavers, unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, vulnerable adults, and individuals who are rough sleeping. This post will focus on the coordination of the Young People’s Supported Housing and Semi-Independent Living Pathways for homeless young people, Looked After Children and care leavers.

This is a challenging time for Lambeth, with an increase in serious youth violence, higher numbers of unaccompanied asylum-seeking children arriving in the borough, and higher numbers of homeless young people presenting. With this in mind, it is vital that we re-design our services to meet the demand and need.

It is an exciting time to join the team, with work underway to completely transform housing-related support for young people in Lambeth. The two-year transformation programme includes de-commissioning current provision and setting-up a radically different and innovative new pathway for all young people who require housing-related support. This post is critical to the success of these changes, working closely with the providers, Commissioners, Children’s Social Care and Housing Team, the postholder will provide coordination, oversight, and monitoring of the Pathway.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our lively, passionate, and welcoming team. This will include developing protocols, co-production activities with young people, staff, and partners, and collating and analysing data.
