Imagine a diverse town full of contrasts, a strong identity and residents who are proud to call it home. A town centre that is bustling. A place that is home to high-quality education, that is investing in the borough and where an established integrated health and care system supports people to lead healthy and independent live. This is Bolton.
There is no doubt that the Covid-19 pandemic has emphasised health inequalities. However, we have come through the pandemic stronger than ever, facing challenges together, and it is this strength that will see us continue to deliver our Bolton 2030 vision, derived from pride in our place and the aspirations of local people, with a simple ambition to build robust and cohesive communities that support people to thrive. We are a borough where residents take full advantage of a network of organisations and facilities to lead active and healthy lifestyles with neighbourhood models of care at our core, and at its heart is the Bolton Health and Care Partnership.
Reporting to the Managing Director of the Integrated Care Partnership (DASS), we are recruiting an Assistant Director of Adult Social Care and Housing, who will be responsible for a wide range of services that are strengths-based, built upon prevention and intervention and that support independence.
We are seeking an individual who understands the wider determinants and services that influence health and wellbeing, someone who can operate collegiately in an established integrated senior leadership team and with external partner organisations. You will maximise the opportunities presented by our existing integrated care partnership and support the development of ever closer working, you will be pivotal to developing our social care and housing needs services in readiness for reform and inspection to promote the excellent work Bolton has supporting our residents to live well at home.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a leading role in the Bolton story and to be part of our unique Bolton Family. For more information, contact our advising consultants at GatenbySanderson, Philip Emms on 07590 225 472.
