Could you lead on the strategic housing agenda, delivering strong leadership and effective management here at City of Wolverhampton Council?
At the City of Wolverhampton we’re entering the next phase of our exciting journey of change and transformation and we are looking for a new Deputy Director of Housing to help shape this vital aspect of our service.
Wolverhampton has been backed by the UK Government in its Levelling Up agenda to deliver even more ambitious regeneration projects. This is a strong endorsement of the work of the City of Wolverhampton Council which has an impressive track record of delivery in partnership with a range of public and private sector organisations.
With £4.4 billion worth of investment on site or planned, the face of our city is changing through the creation of attractive opportunities for developers and investors and 10,000 new homes are planned in the City.
We are seeking an exceptional housing professional with significant senior management experience, to undertake this new lead role in developing and ensuring the delivery of the council’s housing strategy across all tenures.
To be successful you must be able to provide strategic and operational leadership and demonstrate an in-depth understanding of housing need.
For further information about the role you can contact John Roseblade, Director of City Housing and Environment, on 01902 555755 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
