About Us

Having successfully supported last year’s cohort of newly qualified social workers through the first year in their career, Bolton Social Care and Early Help Department are looking to recruit this year’s intake for the ASYE programme.

It is our ambition to make Bolton your employer of choice for the long-term and not just for the first year in your career. As a result, we will invest heavily in you to ensure that you continue to grow and develop as a social worker and become our experienced, competent, confident and content social workers of the future.

Operating under the Bolton Family Framework, which is a Restorative Practice Model, relationship building is at the heart of what we do. We have a culture of providing a safe place to practice with support, training and development and where you feel valued for what you bring to the team. Here at Bolton, we believe in nurturing our Newly Qualified Social Workers to get the best out of you.

‘Social workers feel supported and safe working in Bolton.’
