The FMS Team provides highly regarded financial support services to schools and academies offering a unique blend of professional financial services together with an expert knowledge of school and academy financial and business management. We aim to develop and expand our service offer in the changing education market within North Yorkshire and the North of England. The Team operates as part of North Yorkshire Education Services.
Working closely with the Assistant Director, Strategic Resources, you will provide leadership to the team to continue to deliver an excellent service to our existing customers. You will provide drive, commercial direction and innovative thinking to develop new financial support products for the academy sector. In addition, we are delighted to be one of only two suppliers in the country to be appointed by the DfE to supply School Resource Management Advisers (SRMAs) which will offer a rewarding and challenging opportunity to support schools and trusts to identify opportunities for savings and efficiencies, and helping them to strengthen financial governance and oversight.
The role is expected to operate on a hybrid basis with opportunities to work from our recently refurbished headquarter officer in Nothallerton bit also through home working. This post is offered as a full time role but consideration will be given to any applicants seeking a part time position or term time working.
