Permanent Post 35 hours per week

The Council’s Parking Services team are responsible for the enforcement, management and design of parking controls across the borough.  The back-office team is responsible for processing parking penalty charges, car park season tickets, resident permit applications and renewals etc.  All the foregoing involves processing payments and replying to correspondence. 

We are seeking to recruit two new members of staff to join our busy dedicated team.  You will have experience of dealing effectively with the public particularly, in difficult situations, both verbally and in writing.  Computer skills are essential – ideally you will have significant experience of working within a computerised office environment. A commitment to a high standard of service delivery and customer care is essential.

You must have a meticulous and methodical approach to your work.  The team deals with a large workload so you must be able to work on your own initiative, prioritise effectively and work under pressure as part of a team.
