AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED AND AMBITIOUS PERFORMANCE & DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

If you have an understanding of how data can be used to improve services and are interested in a career in the world of data, this is an ideal opportunity to get experience of this within a friendly and supportive environment. The Data Unit within Education & Skills are looking to develop their performance team who specialise in reporting performance information and analysing key themes to drive improvement. We work with a variety of stakeholders and partners, assisting them to interpret and evaluate data to develop business analyses, projections, and trends to enable strategic and operational decision-making.

As part of the team, you will support the collection, monitoring, analysis and presentation of performance information, and maintenance of systems, with key emphasis on accuracy and completeness of information and meeting service needs. You’ll assist others in the interrogation of performance data to establish methods of improving service performance.

Ideally you will have experience of working effectively within a busy team. You will be able to demonstrate high levels of accuracy when handling data as well as understanding the benefits of data analysis and undertaking data quality checks.
