Your energy and expertise will push our CIN provision forward
In Kensington and Chelsea, we put local people and local businesses at the heart of decision-making, working in partnership with them to provide quality services that are responsive, effective and efficient. Rated as outstanding by Ofsted, we are committed to improving the life chances of children across Kensington & Chelsea and the neighbouring borough of Westminster. This includes imaginative, high-quality educational provision for Children in Need (CIN).
The Role:
Reporting to our Bi-Borough Virtual School Head, you will help to promote educational progress and achievement for Children in Need. Your particular focus will be on bringing the CIN education activities of the two boroughs together, utilising the shared knowledge and skills of diverse professionals, and ensuring they offer a uniform approach.
Working with school leaders and social workers to maintain vulnerable children in their school placements and ensure they make the most of school life, you will also directly manage more complex cases, particularly adolescents with complex safeguarding concerns. It’s a creative, challenging and forward-thinking role, offering real scope for your ideas as we shape the future of the service.
