The Libraries and Archive Service are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Library Outreach Project Officer. This is an exciting opportunity where the right candidate will support the delivery of agreed customer, library and archive initiatives aimed at supporting the Council’s priorities and outcomes. This will include co-ordination of volunteer activity.

The ideal candidate will be flexible, hard-working, and passionate about our service. You will have experience of working with community groups, customers, and volunteers, and be able to develop strong relationships with internal and external groups.

We are currently operating virtual interviews. This will preferably be undertaken using the Microsoft Teams software, which is currently free for new users, however if there are any issues with accessing this technology, we are happy to discuss alternative arrangements prior to the interviews.

Options will be discussed with candidates once they have been invited to the interview stage of the process, and if you have any concerns or adjustments are needed, we are happy to discuss.
