We are looking with someone with excellent organisational skills, an eye for detail and accuracy and the ability to work in an environment handling sensitive information to become part of our Safeguarding Partnerships Business Office.

The team supports the management and improvement of safeguarding approaches across organisations for Children and Adults in Leicestershire and Rutland. Setting safeguarding procedures, assessing and reviewing practice, identifying improvements and supporting training and development of staff across organisations.

The role is to provide administration support to the team and Leicestershire & Rutland Safeguarding Adults Board and Safeguarding Children Partnership to enable the partnerships to work effectively. This will include arranging and creating records of multi-agency meetings; taking telephone calls and messages and instigating follow up action; managing and maintaining filing and office systems and the Safeguarding Partnerships website; proof reading documents for accuracy prior to publication; assisting in collating and compiling statistical and other information for reports and other administrative tasks.

You will be able to listen, assess and process important information, create accurate written documents and effectively use a range of office and web-based systems. Knowledge of child and adult safeguarding would be helpful, but is not essential.

This is a full-time position with potential for flexible working in line with business need.
