This is an open ended, full time position required for 37 hours per week.

A Transportation Planner is required for the analysis and monitoring of traffic, to design and undertake feasibility studies, the management of the highway minor works programme, the community works fund initiative and S106 funded highways schemes, together with and the preparation of policy and strategy documents in relation to the future transportation needs of the Authority. This will include significant emphasis on the development of sustainable transport modes to achieve modal shift away from the private car along with the development of strategies to ensure transport networks are resilient to climate change.
