You will be providing IT Application support to workers who work in our key frontline services. These workers provide vital Social care and Education support services to the people of Leicestershire, so you’ll be instrumental in ensuring that together we can deliver a high quality service.
You will prioritise incoming work via our call triage process, and work with colleagues to ensure a swift and high quality service provision. You will fix transactional queries, and with your growing experience, fix a wide range of issues within multiple applications. You will champion user self-help and help us develop self-solve through your pro-active contributions. You’ll be encouraged to maintain ownership of calls to support knowledge management, and when necessary signpost users to the appropriate resolver teams. You will use proprietary and supplementary tools along with robust processes to ensure we manage customer data to very high standards.
You will work as part of small technical project teams across ICT to deliver new services and service improvements in a rapidly changing organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to expand their experience in application support.
This opportunity would best suit an applicant with a working knowledge in a support services environment, and a passion for customer service excellence is a must!
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) or achieved proficiency in SFIA skills at level 1
- ICT experience with evidence of operating at a practitioner level (SFIA level 1)
- Of working with technical and professional staff
- Evidence of initiative used
- Demonstrate commitment to customer service and awareness of customer requirements
- Demonstrates high level of accuracy in following procedures
- Good analytical / problem solving skills
- Numerate
- Understanding and experience of the application of a customer service philosophy
