JOB PURPOSE:
- To support the Community Safety Team to co-ordinate and develop the County Council’s corporate approach to Community Safety and ensure synergy with other strategies and plans of the County Council and Partnership Agencies.
- To support the Community Safety Team to successfully deliver programmes and projects, complete and submit bids and grant applications and co-ordinate the actions from Domestic Homicide Reviews across the partnership.
- To provide administrative support to the Community Safety Team, including the taking of minutes at complex partnership meetings on subjects such as domestic abuse, anti-social behaviour and counter terrorism.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Educated to NVQ 4 Level in Project Management/Business Admin or equivalent, or appropriate experience to this level
- Experience of working on projects in a supportive, enabling role
- Experience of providing and leading administrative support and coordination
- Experience of organising and facilitating key meetings and events including Project Boards, Team meetings, training and workshops with a focus on decisions, risks and actions
- Experience of presenting information in a variety of formats relevant to audience needs
- Good general business and commercial acumen
- Knowledge of key project documents and requirements, showing good do-ordination skills and knowledge
- Knowledge of various Microsoft programmes, including Word, Excel, Visio, Project etc
