The Employment Support Service team provides support for various payroll systems. The team also process the payroll for North Yorkshire Schools and Academies, along with all of the employees of the County Council. Employment Support Service provide administrative support for recruitment processes for internal and external recruitment opportunities. The team in Employment Support are focused on delivering an excellent service and are committed to the continuous improvement of staff, systems and processes to the benefit of our customers.
An opportunity has arisen in our internal Audit team for a Grade F position. The Audit Team are responsible for various aspects of training to keep processes streamlined, writing guidance documents and keeping these up to date, spot checking the payroll and payroll inputters and bringing any issues to the relevant Team Leaders attention. They are also involved in helping team members with complex payroll queries and calculations, checking newly trained team members work and checking new academies and partner work. A keen eye for detail is necessary, and knowledge of our payrolls and processes is essential.
The current Audit team are constantly developing our training programmes and any ideas regarding improvement of the service are welcomed and encouraged.
