Communications and Engagement Officer (maternity cover until 15 April 2023)
Working as part of the council’s award winning Corporate Communications Team you will have responsibility for two key areas of work: internal and external communications for our large in-house social care provider Cumbria Care and the continued delivery of the Proud to Care Cumbria social care recruitment campaign. You will have responsibility for a substantial marketing budget and play an important part in supporting the social care sector meet the needs of people in Cumbria
You will need a proven track record of delivering high quality communications and engagement activity across the full range of online and offline channels, be able to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and be excited about making a positive difference to people’s lives through your work.
This is a temporary post and a fantastic opportunity to develop your career as part of an experienced and growing team.
