East Midlands Freeport (EMF) will create a world leading, low carbon, advanced manufacturing, and logistics hub in the heart of England. With innovation at its core the Freeport will be a driving force in supporting clean growth and sustainable net zero investment. We are looking for an exceptional talent to lead the EMF and the development of three physical sites with multi-modal connectivity, tax and customs benefits and a network of  commercial and public partnerships.

As EMF Director you will provide strategic leadership and be responsible for developing the EMF as an organisation. You will  also have the ability and experience to work effectively with leading Skills Academies and Higher Education Institutions, and act as a champion for key sectors including Advanced Manufacturing and Logistics, Low Carbon and Renewable Energy, Research and Development.

Whether in a C – Suite position in industry or operating in a commercial leadership role in the public sector you will have a proven track record of success delivering growth and be adept at building productive and cooperative relationships across different sectors. An inspirational leader you will have the ability to build high performing teams with a reputation for turning strategy into action working effectively with and through stakeholders and delivery partners.
