Virtual School Advisor

We are supporting our local authority client in the West of England in their search for an interim Virtual School Extended Duties Officer. This is a strategic role with a focus on influencing practice in schools to improve the educational outcomes of children and young people with a social worker. The post holder will support colleagues across the council, headteachers, designated safeguarding leads and governors to improve outcomes for children with a social worker through developing a clear identification of need; recognising barriers to learning and demonstrating how to overcome these; leading on programmes of work and approaches to engagement.

They are looking for an interim with the experience of excellent understanding of current school improvement programmes/ projects/ interventions. It is an initial 6 month contract with a negotiable day rate.
