Essential Requirements

You must have a Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.

We’re looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and experienced Occupational Therapist with a passion for Occupational Therapy.

You’ll have the ability to undertake therapy assessments including manual handling assessments, delivering services such as specialist equipment, minor and major adaptations, reviewing outcomes with service users, carers and their support networks.

You’ll promote service users’ independence and autonomy. Ensuring you address adversity and social exclusion.

You’ll be able to work autonomously, managing your own caseload with guidance from a supportive management team and other experienced colleagues. 

You’ll be an excellent communicator, be able to engage and work within the Therapy team and work with wider services internal and external to council.
