Help deliver 21st century housing management services

Following the Grenfell Tower tragedy, we have embarked on a community recovery programme across the Lancaster West Estate.  The Lancaster West Neighbourhood Team provides holistic housing management services for around 1,000 properties.

As part of this programme, we are now in the process of refurbishing every home to a high standard, with works led and co-designed by residents. In creating a ‘model’ estate for the 21st century, one of our aspirations is to ensure all homes are carbon-neutral by 2030.

The Role:

As our Project and Change Manager, you will drive continuous improvement and innovation across a range of housing, capital works, and community service programme, through close consultation with colleagues and residents, and a strong drive for inclusion.

You will develop mechanisms, tools and processes for capturing customer insight and learn from all forms of feedback and complaints. This will mean embracing and promoting an agile culture that encourages the team to deliver change quickly and responsively, with a robust approach that provide assurance for residents and the wider council.

Please refer to the Job Description for more information.

About You:

Ambitious to set new standards within a high-profile social housing project, you’ll be innovative, collaborative, and forward-thinking in your approach. To succeed, you will need significant experience of service improvement, including the use of ICT and exposure to principles such as Agile and Lean. You should be able to provide evidence of delivering improvements in efficiency, working processes and customer experience. Highly organised with excellent communication skills, you’ll be ready to influence, negotiate and advocate for positive change. The ability to inspire, lead and motivate others will be key.

Join us in this fascinating work, and in return you can look forward to a package that includes a competitive salary, a high-quality pension scheme and generous annual leave plus bank holidays.

Please apply online explaining how you meet the requirements set out in the person specification and job description. CV’s alone will not be considered for this role.
