Help to deliver a 21st century estate at the heart of an eco-neighbourhood

Following the Grenfell Tower tragedy, we have embarked on a community-led recovery programme across the Lancaster West Estate.  The Lancaster West Neighbourhood Team provides holistic housing management services for around 1,000 properties.

As part of this programme, we are now in the process of refurbishing every home to a high standard, with works led and co-designed by residents. In creating a ‘model’ estate for the 21st century, one of our aspirations is to ensure all homes are carbon-neutral by 2030.

The Role:

This innovative social housing programme includes retrofitting some 800 properties and the installation of a renewable heat network. As Project Support Officer, you’ll provide the seamless administration that ensures everything runs smoothly. From tracking progress to monitoring budgets and expenditure, you’ll have a handle on all the details.  It’s a great opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills of project management in a high-profile programme that’s breaking new ground.

Please refer to the Job Description for more information.

About You:

Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise work, you’ll have strong skills in Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365, in particular Excel.  You’ll also have keen attention to detail, good problem-solving skills and plenty of initiative. You must be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication, both in person and in writing, is key. If you live in the area and have local knowledge, so much the better.

Join us in this fascinating work, and in return you can look forward to a package that includes a competitive salary, a high-quality pension scheme and generous annual leave plus bank holidays.

Please apply online explaining how you meet the requirements set out in the person specification and job description. CV’s alone will not be considered for this role.
