The York & North Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) is a public-private partnership charged with driving economic growth and prosperity across York and North Yorkshire. We are one of 38 LEPs in the national LEP Network.
The LEP acts as a bridge between businesses and the public sector. We set the strategic direction for government investment in our region to drive good growth in our economy and bring forward every opportunity for people, places and businesses to thrive. Enterprise Partnership Officers support Senior Managers in the delivery of Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) activity, working closely alongside partners and stakeholders.
This role provides capacity to take forward the LEP agenda, help to deliver projects that help to grow the York and North Yorkshire economy and fulfil the priority objectives of the Local Enterprise Partnership. The role will be delivery focused working across trade, investment and infrastructure.
You will be facilitating the development of exciting programmes and projects that deliver economic benefits for York and North Yorkshire. This includes directly shaping & supporting responses to regional investment opportunities.
Working dynamically as part of a fast paced, results driven team to ensure that projects and programmes are delivered effectively with maximum impact is crucial.

What you will bring…
To be successful you must have an understanding of business growth needs, have the ability to work dynamically to effect change, be able to plan and research information; and utilise data to create plans and develop new ways of working. Have a proven track record in building and influencing people and converse effectively with internal and external clients and stakeholders (public & private sectors).
You must be a strategic thinker and an exceptional communicator both written and oral as well as being able to establish and develop positive working relations.
