We have an exciting opportunity that has arisen in the Asset Management and Maintenance team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to ensure tenants and residents are effectively involved in shaping the councils approach to fire safety across its portfolio of high and low-rise housing stock.
You should be able to demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of fire safety in residential properties, particularly in relation to High Risk Residential Buildings as well as an understanding of the key issues related to building safety and the impact this has on lives of residents.
You will support residents living in properties undergoing major refurbishment so should have knowledge and understanding of issues related to resident’s experience through the design and delivery of major refurbishment programmes.
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills are essential as experience of working in a multi-cultural area with a strong commitment to equal opportunities.
