An exciting opportunity has risen within the busy IT Service Delivery team. The purpose of the role is to control and monitor IT hardware and software assets throughout their life cycle in accordance with appropriate LCC policies and procedures. This includes:
- Ensuring data and information is fit for purpose and that data quality is maintained in the LCC asset tracking systems.
- Use Available IT toolsets to carry out regular audits across all areas of hardware and software
- Update software licensing information in third party systems. - Manipulate data and provide effective management reports to support IT and business teams.
- Ensuring all equipment holding sensitive data is held securely when not in use and de-commissioned in accordance with the LCC disposal policy and data protection.
This is a career graded post which will provide the opportunity for the successful candidate to undertake the formal ITIL V4 foundation qualification and help them progress within this role.
Note, this role will require the postholder to work at the County Hall offices on a rota based system.
