There are 2 posts for fixed term for 1 year.
The FPA team in Greenwich manages the financial affairs of people who lack the mental capacity to manage their own money (due to age, illness or disability). You will act as a Court Appointed Deputy or Appointee and hold a caseload of clients who need this support, acting in their best interest at all times, ensuring they are safe from financial abuse, and able to live as independently as possible.
The work is rewarding and varied, crossing boundaries between finance, care and support, advocacy and legal work. You will work flexibly as part of a friendly team, dividing your time between home and office working.
Successful candidates will care about safeguarding and supporting people and be skilled in working directly with members of the public. They will be numerate and able to work accurately across a range of digital systems and applications, effectively prioritising and managing their workload.
Flexible working will be considered, as well as secondments and Job-share arrangements.
