This is an exciting opportunity to support the Children and Families service to provide an excellent service to children, their families and our partner agencies. This post is instrumental in co-ordinating and prioritising subject Access Requests for the service. It is a small team but crucial in ensuring the department continues to work within statutory and legislative requirements as outlined in the Data Protection Act.  This role combines the need to ensure personal information is managed in compliance with current legislation along with the need for sensitivity and understanding of social work processes. The post holder will be required to provide supervision and professional development to a small team of staff along with contributing to the development of the service.
