The Role:

As a senior playworker you will be responsible for the running and development of out of school clubs/play provision both after school and in the holidays.

The successful candidate will provide fun, new and exciting opportunities to children and young people within a play setting. 

You will be responsible for running your own club and leading a team of playworkers to deliver day to day activities in a safe, fun environment in line with Ofsted standards. This includes planning and providing activities for children and young people in line with the Ofsted EYFS Statutory Framework.

You will also be required to manage a team of play workers and ensure all staff record details are up to date and supervisions are held regularly.

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic senior playworker who can lead a team as well as provide and develop fun and high quality opportunities to children and young people aged 4 to 12.

You must be able to work on your own and as part of a team and provide a safe and friendly environment where children are given the opportunities to develop and grow.

You must have evidence of a relevant professional qualification at Level 3 (or above) e.g. Early Years and childcare. Experience of working with children and young people aged 4-12 is required together with a minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience of staff management.
