This new role has been created to support 2 related functions in Adult social care.

  • management of client level purchasing function;
  • Supporting the development and ongoing management of the client level financial data system (Mosaic).

You’ll have detailed knowledge of financial systems, in particular Purchase to Pay, excellent attention to detail and ability to manage and develop micro systems track and support the work of the team. You’ll manage two Purchasing Officers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of purchase orders, issue resolution and will have a strong understanding and experience of developing and working to agreed business processes.

You’ll have experience of working with financial systems and will support the Business Systems Manager and Finance Business Analyst in the development of all finance-related business processes and functions for Adult Social Services.

The next few years will present an exciting challenge as we implement systems required to support the national Care Funding Reforms. Working at pace and as part of a project team you’ll be supported and developed to deliver solutions to the residents of Richmond and Wandsworth.

As this is a new role it will be reviewed annually to ensure the job description is in line with developing responsibilities, which may result in an upward grading.
