The Exchequer Services Manager role will be responsible for the effective operation of the service by leading and motivating the section to ensure an efficient and high performing service, achieving National and Council standards.
The area of responsibility includes Benefits, Council Tax, Non Domestic Rates, Sundry Debtors and Payment and Payroll Services.
We are seeking an individual with substantial management experience in a revenues and benefits environment and knowledge of the legislation and statutory framework affecting service delivery in the Exchequer Services area.
You will also need to be competent in verbal and written communication including presentation, negotiation and advocacy skills. Ideally, you should be IRRV qualified at Level 3 or above, educated to degree level or hold an equivalent professional qualification with evidence of continuous professional development.
