You will need energy, enthusiasm, dedication and creativity in this role, and you will need to demonstrate that you can do the following things really well:

  • Work collaboratively with a range of agencies.
  • Support councillors to be effective corporate parents
  • Think strategically and laterally, using your own initiative as well as working with others.
  • Communicate well and have good interpersonal skills
  • Prepare excellent written communications.
  • Understand the environment of children’s services and especially the needs of looked after children and care leavers.

You will need to hold a Degree and relevant experience.
