The role is varied and interesting and will involve:

The management and maintenance of children’s fostering payments, ensuring they are made correctly and in a timely manner.

Working closely with care teams to ensure payments are set up correctly on the system.

Assist in the management and maintenance of payments to care providers, including the updating of relevant records.

Analysing data and calculating the correct amount to be paid to each provider.

Assisting providers with queries and processing any resulting adjustments.

About You

You will demonstrate effective communication skills in order to present information both verbally and in writing. You will have the ability to work as part of a team and under your own supervision. You should be able to demonstrate effective organisational skills, with the ability to plan, develop and prioritise your work. In addition, you will possess accurate numeracy skills to ensure correct information is recorded and processed and have good systems and spreadsheet skills.

About Us

This is an important role which supports the Payments team who are responsible for processing payments to care providers across various services in both Children’s and Adults Services.

This post has responsibility for the processing of payments to foster care providers and supporting the Payments team with other duties.

The role is varied and busy and will provide exposure to various teams in the department as well as dealing with clients, carers and external parties with their queries around fostering payments.
