Can you see yourself playing a key role in helping people to move to new and right-sized homes?

Do you have great customer service and negotiation skills and like helping people?

If you answered yes, then we’d love to hear from you!

The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and London Borough of Wandsworth’s Shared Staff Arrangement are seeking to recruit four new Allocations & Mobility Officers to join our diverse and friendly team.

Working with Wandsworth’s Council tenants, these posts focus on helping people downsize to right sized, and generally newly built, council and housing association homes.

Doing so is a key priority for us in tackling homelessness and relieving overcrowding amongst our tenants. You would be covering all aspects for the downsizing journey: from visiting the tenants, helping to register their application, holding associated events, making offers and right through to helping the client through the removal and incentive payments processes.

We need people who are innovative and can come up with solutions as this role is involves finding new homes by way of the many self-help housing opportunities available.

If this is you and you have the passion to make a difference, please apply for these posts.

If you’d like an informal discussion about the role, please email Gavin Milligan (Allocations Manager) via gavin.milligan@richmondandwandsworth.gov.uk or Alexandra Walsh (Deputy Allocations manager) via Alexandra.walsh@richmondandwandsworth.gov.uk
