Director of Children’s Social Care 

Our Statutory DCS, you’ll bring the engaging, positive and professional leadership needed to ensure that the children and young people of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough are safe, supported and are able to thrive. You’ll work across both Councils, with a strong focus on improving services and outcomes by working with partners, locally and regionally. You’ll equally ensure we sustain a strong and constructive relationship with Ofsted.

Committed to safeguarding and corporate parenting, you’ll also need to share our passion for growing and developing a professional, resilient, and well supported workforce across all of Children’s Services.

We expect you to be a qualified social worker, but it’s first and foremost your leadership skills and ability to positively motivate and empower our teams that matters most.
