         Working as part of a team to support the Referral and Assessment/Integrated Front Door Social Care Teams the role covers varied duties.

The main duties will include:

·         Arranging Strategy and Child Action meetings, taking notes and producing genograms.

·         Sending out Children and Family Assessment to parents and professionals.

·         Preparing and sending out letters to parents regarding domestic violence.

·         Processing requests from Legal, including retrieving and/or downloading archived records.

·         Photocopying various starter packs ready for distribution.

·         Completing checks for Step-parent Adoption and submitting requests to organisations as required and following up actions.

·         Updating Liquid Logic database including adding case notes and uploading documents.

·         Monitoring the R&A inbox and deal/signpost with any queries as required

You will also undertake general admin duties that include:

·         Providing an effective and efficient administrative service

·         Delivering an efficient front-line service for customers

·         Supporting and maintaining the use of information systems

·         Receiving, sorting and co-ordinating the distribution of mail

·         Ordering specified goods and services

·         Arranging and setting up meetings and events

·         Attending meetings and taking notes

·         Assisting with petty cash

·         Photocopying and distributing documents

About You:

You will have experience of taking comprehensive minutes at conferences or multi agency meetings.   

You will demonstrate effective communication skills in order to present information both verbally and in writing.

You will have the ability to work as part of a team and under your own supervision.

You should be able to demonstrate effective organisational skills, with the ability to plan, develop and prioritise your work.

You must possess accurate literacy skills to ensure correct information is collated and processed and are proficient in the use of information technology systems

Experience of using a range of computer software packages to produce accurate, well-presented documents is essential, as is a demonstrable ability to handle cash and be able to record and monitor payments in line with financial procedures.

Applicants must have the ability to arrange and, where necessary, attend meetings to take minutes.
