Lead Administrator (Child Protection Unit)

Working as part of a team to support the Child Protection Unit the role covers several duties and tasks.  You will arrange and organise Initial and Review conferences, set up virtual and face to face meetings. and collate reports for conferences and upload to relevant child’s record on Liquid Logic (database). 

You will be working to statutory deadlines by sending meeting Outcomes within 24 hours and minutes within 21 days to recipients (families and professionals). 

You will undertake general admin duties that include:

-       Providing an effective and efficient administrative service

-       Delivering an efficient front line service for customers

-       Supporting and maintaining the use of information systems

-       Co-ordinating the distribution of mail, including monitoring, ordering and distributing specified goods and services

-       Arranging, setting up and attending meetings and events, including taking minutes direct to a laptop or computer

-       Receipting, recording, monitoring and making of payments in line with policies, procedures and guidelines

-       Prior to conference send reports to professionals and families as required.

-       Contribute to the scheduling, organising and co-ordinating of activities, resources and events including travel and accommodation and meeting venues

About You:

You will have experience of taking comprehensive minutes at conferences or multi agency meetings.   

You will demonstrate effective communication skills in order to present information both verbally and in writing.

You will have the ability to work as part of a team and under your own supervision.

You should be able to demonstrate effective organisational skills, with the ability to plan, develop and prioritise your work.

You must possess accurate literacy skills to ensure correct information is collated and processed and are proficient in the use of information technology systems

Experience of using a range of computer software packages to produce accurate, well-presented documents is essential, as is a demonstrable ability to handle cash and be able to record and monitor payments in line with financial procedures.

Applicants must have the ability to arrange and, where necessary, attend meetings to take minutes.
