As a directorate, People, are responsible for a wide range of services to the residents of Cumbria. The functional area of Children & Young People specifically supports children, young people and their families, through a variety of interventions, including, child protection, safeguarding and services for children looked after.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for a self-motivated, experienced and successful administrator to provide top level business support and excellent customer service to service users, partners and other agencies.
Candidates must possess excellent literacy, numeracy and ICT skills, as well as high level organisational and communication skills. The successful candidate will present a confident, professional image to social workers, team managers and colleagues within the Directorate.
We are looking for someone who is confident and possesses the ability to work independently in a busy, demanding environment, with excellent organisational skills and an ability to use their own initiative.
Possessing a keen eye for detail and an accurate approach to your work, you will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
