In Jersey we are at the dawn of a new era. The Government has realigned its approach to road safety along the Five Pillars of the Safe System Approach and adopted a challenging but achievable target of halving the number of casualties on Island within the next ten years. With this renewed and challenging approach, we need a passionate, committed, and experienced road safety engineer to help deliver the strategies, goals and evidence led initiatives detailed in our new Road Safety Strategy.

If you are a lateral and forward thinker, with traffic and road safety engineering experience and looking for an environment that embraces new ideas and encourages personal innovation and development, with the ability to motivate and influence others towards appropriate ideas and solutions we would like to hear from you.

You will work closely with other government staff to deliver the engineering and highway elements of the Island Road Safety Strategy and ultimately meet the 2032 casualty reduction target using the Safe System Approach to Road Safety.
