Business Support Administrator - Safeguarding Hub

Cumbria Safeguarding Hub Business Support Team are looking to recruit an experienced administrator to join our friendly and hard-working team.

The Safeguarding Hub, based in Penrith is the central contact point for initial child safety concerns for members of the public and professionals. We are a well-supported team, and have strong working relationships with multiagency partners, allowing us to understand, asses and address the immediate needs for children.

The main Business Support role in the team is dealing with members of the public and professionals, either by phone or email and entering and retrieving accurate information to and from Children’s Services databases.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills, as well as high level communication skills. You will have the ability to work independently in a busy, demanding environment, with excellent organisational skills and an ability to use their own initiative.
