The Public Health Department in Leicestershire County Council is enthusiastic and passionate about protecting and improving the health and wellbeing of the local population. We are embarking on an exciting journey to integrate our adolescent healthy child programme with our children and family wellbeing service. We are looking to recruit an experienced and forward-thinking clinically trained person to join our team. The successful post holder will be an experienced Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional with a passion for improving adolescent health. The post holder will be responsible for leading the integration of adolescent health and children services practice in settings across Leicestershire. The successful candidate will be required to work in partnership with colleagues across Leicestershire County Council and with external partners within Health and Social Care system.
The post holder will be required to work flexibly throughout the County, have excellent communication and organisation skills and be able to work confidently and professionally with care staff, managers and wider partners, to support raising standards through education, integration and supportive challenge.

The post is Monday to Friday, predominately home working, with attendance at the main office in County Hall on an ad hoc basis.
