About the Role
We are currently looking for an individual who can ensure the efficient use of the Lincolnshire Highway Network by coordinating, inspecting and enforcing works on the highway.
The role involves
- Administrative support to Street Works Officers in the team.
- Data entry of information into our IT systems.
- Assisting with the coordination of highway works under the Lincolnshire Permit Scheme.
- Inspection of highway construction sites to ensure compliance with NRSWA legislation and the Permit Scheme.
- Customer liaison with our internal engineering teams and external utilities.
This is a full time, entry level position in the Street Works and Permitting Team within the Highways department and training will be given to accomplish all tasks required by the role.

It is essential that you hold an ONC/BTEC or A levels or a NRSWA Supervisors qualifications AND demonstrable level of knowledge and skill suitable for the role. Candidates with relevant experience, a professional work ethic and good interpersonal skills will also be considered. Familiarity with the use of Microsoft Office and the use of other Information Technology is essential.
