Job Details
The Revenues Service currently has vacancies for Revenues Officers. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of two specialised teams focused on recovering Council Tax arrears.
We are recruiting for 5 fixed term contracts until 31.03.23 and 1 permanent post (all 35 hours).
We would be interested to hear from candidates who:
- have experience in the collection and enforcement of Council Tax, including tracing
- have excellent communication and negotiation skills
- have a passion for helping residents and assisting those in financial difficulties
- have excellent IT skills (working knowledge of Academy would also be advantageous)
- can work flexibly across other aspects of Council Tax administration if required
- can work independently and be a supportive team member
The Revenues Service is part of the Finance and Legal Services Directorate. Successful candidates will be expected to work closely with finance colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the service.
