Regeneration Programme Support Officer

This role is a fixed term contract till March 2026.

Cabinet adopted the Regeneration Strategy, project pipeline and action plan for businesses and economic recovery in March 2022. The Strategy will lever in significant investment alongside other infrastructure and funding opportunities (such as the Levelling Up Fund) which means Sandwell has a once in a generation opportunity to ensure that the economic, social and environmental benefits are delivered to our communities. 

Working within the Regeneration and Growth Directorate, this is a unique and rewarding opportunity to support the programme management of a diverse programme of regeneration projects to deliver a strong and inclusive economy for Sandwell. The post holder will work in collaboration with council teams, partner organisations and other stakeholders. 

Applicants must be educated to Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject, have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in a busy office environment and experience of project working and supporting the delivery of services.
