In Greenwich we recognise the need to work in partnership to achieve sustainable positive change and the best outcomes for our children and their families. We are looking for somebody to join our team to build and strengthen the royal borough’s existing multi-agency safeguarding partnership as well as Children and Young People’s Partnerships.

Are you ambitious for children and their families? Are you a talented influencer who can build and strengthen high quality safeguarding multi-agency partnership relationships? Would you like to take an integral lead to spearhead the role of orchestrating all partnerships and relationships to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and young people in Greenwich?

Now is an exciting time to join as the partnership is reviewing its priorities and delivery mechanisms in time for launching a new plan in 2023. You will be pivotal in the direction of travel for this new and exciting post, you will be given the unique opportunity to shape and steer the future of safeguarding partnerships ensuring the partnership is effective in delivering all its key milestones.

You will be expected to report to the statutory partners at a senior executive level and be able to support and work alongside the independent chair of the partnership. You will lead a business unit who you will be responsible for along with the partnership budget. You will be key in driving the partnership priorities, strategic planning and the co-ordination of the partnership to achieve successful outcomes for children and their families, building safe strong communities. Lead on all communications, governance and performance, championing safeguarding rights and needs of the children and young people.
